411 Road Trip: Zero to 60 in Three Days (??---It's a Mystery---??)
We'll take a road trip of about 60 hours total, open only to teens who have previously been involved in 411 retreats and cell groups. The destination? It's a mystery, just like your vocation. The Dumb Ox Crew will travel to North Dakota to give a retreat to teens at St. Mary's Central Catholic High School -- helping them to go deeper in understanding who they are, how to hear God's voice, and how to pursue his will as they train in faithfulness for their future vocations. Get Lost: 4-1-1 Spring Retreat (Thibodaux, LA )
The 411 ministry in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux will hit the last stretch of the school year with a one-day, knock-down, fantabulous, rip-roarin' retreat to launch towards the summer. "Get Lost" is our theme -- learning to intentionally get lost in the heart of God -- going so deep in Him that we have no other reference point... Northore Senior Day (Mandeville, LA)
Catholic high school seniors from the northshore will gather for a day of fun, prayer, reflection and Mass. Brian Butler will give a talk on "Nurturing the Seed of Your Vocation" at 9:45am. Mass with the Archbishop to follow. Brian Butler will then travel north to give a talk in the afternoon to the Junior girls of Saint Scholastica Academy during their junior retreat. Topic: "The Theology of the Body: Redemption of the Feminine Genius"

The Dumb Ox crew will be serving up some "spiritual steaks" on Ash Wednesday, helping the teens in the 411 ministry to go deeper in their Lenten journey and their vocational journey by exploring the depths of what it really means to "Give it up"! The Dumb Ox crew will offer two breakout sessions that will repeat twice at this gathering of teens throughout the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Colin MacIver will deliver a workshop called "Prayer and Identity in the Age of the iPod." Jason Angelette will deliver a workshop on idenity as young men and women through the lens of the Theology of the Body (title coming).

He will give a talk, "Prayer and Identity in the Age of the Ipod" as well as doing two music sets--one concert on an outdoor stage and one acoustic set in the Adoration Chapel. We’ll finish the school year with a “bang” and get the teens fired up to continue walking in their faith throughout the summer. At the close of the retreat, we’ll provide them some summer reading and point them towards more summer opportunities, retreats and conferences. This retreat closes out our year. Cell groups take a break for the summer.

YOUR 40 DAYS OF PURPOSE START HERE: We’ll introduce a specific Lenten theme, which we will foster throughout Lent. The day will go from 9:00am - 5:00pm and will include Mass. At 5:30pm we will transport the teens to the Municipal Auditorium where we will worship together at ADORE. Parents will pick up the teens at 9:00pm after ADORE.
