Who is God? What is the meaning of life? What is love and what does sex have to do with it? What if these questions were answered for you and you lived and loved with purpose?  What if every young person in the Church knew how to hear God’s voice, understood their vocation, and was passionate about living it out in faithfulness?

That’s no fantasy world. It’s our mission, as a part of the New Evangelization, to journey with you and help you discover God’s plan for your life. We believe you want the truth, and we love you enough to bring it to you in creative and engaging ways that make sense. We will bring the message of real love and authentic freedom to you—to teens—in a relevant way. Here at Dumb Ox Productions, we believe that being cool and being Catholic is not a dumb idea at all.

Our Mission

The purpose of Dumb Ox Productions is to spread the love of Jesus Christ to teens through the teachings of the Catholic Church.  This educational ministry reaches young people with hope and truth by encouraging them to live and love with purpose and purity, faithfully pursuing the vocation to which God has called them. We accomplish this mission by seamlessly mixing theology and entertainment through comprehensive diocesan programs, live presentations, interactive retreats, and various media.  

So, what does our mission statement mean? We take our Catholic faith, highlighted by the truths of the Theology of the Body, and ignite the hearts of teens with the beauty and truth of God’s plan for their lives. We help teens discover the purpose of life that leads to real love and true freedom. And we do it all in ways that we think would make JPII proud. We take the timeless Gospel of Jesus Christ and package it for teens in relevant ways that fulfill our call to be disciples in the 21st century. It is our intention to help raise up a new generation of teens that live with purpose and purity, finding happiness as they love like God, responding in faithfulness to the vocation to which He calls them.
